Today is the third class in our current four-class set. We will begin class with our editing exercise. Our reading today is about parenting. The vocabulary words will come from our reading. Vocabulary

• abstract- (adj) existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence. (verb) consider (something) theoretically or separately from something else. (noun) a summary of the contents of a book, article, or formal speech.
• resentment- (noun) bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly.
• catastrophic - (adj) involving or causing sudden great damage or suffering. extremely unfortunate or unsuccessful.
• interfere - Verb) prevent (a process or activity) from continuing or being carried out properly. handle or adjust (something) without permission, especially so as to cause damage.

• Brambles and trees- brambles are bushes with thorns
