Today's reading is about an employee who was disciplined at work. The vocabulary words will come from the reading. I will explain and discuss them in class. Our listening material is a nature video clip. Please listen for the keywords and phrases. 

Vocabulary

• reprimanded - (noun) an act or expression of criticism and censure
• ridicule - (noun) the subjection of someone or something to contemptuous and dismissive language or behavior. (verb) subject (someone or something) to contemptuous and dismissive language or behavior.
• relentless - (adj) oppressively constant; incessant. harsh or inflexible.
• controversial - (adj) giving rise or likely to give rise to public disagreement.
